Another Big Move for Heidi Swapp . . . Hey, at least it’s not China

Read all about it on Heidi Swapp’s BLOG; the post is right HERE.

The Peas are talking about it HERE.

In a nutshell, Heidi’s husband is going to finish his Chinese degree at BYU. The moving truck has left and they are on their way. In the blog entry, she talks about her future with ADVANTUS (oh, they of INTERESTING BUSINESS PRACTICES), the HEIDI SWAPP BRAND, and with her primary focus, HOUSE OF 3, which is her project with RHONNA FARRER and JANET HOPKINS. I found THIS blog entry that describes House of 3 really well, just scroll down a bit and it’s under the ALI EDWARDS stuff.

If you’ve been looking for Heidi Swapp sneak peeks for CHA-Summer 2009, this is why you haven’t seen any (from Heidi’s above blog entry):

I will not be attending CHA, and I do not have a new product release at this show. The Heidi Swapp brand will continue through Advantus… I will continue to teach classes, travel and promote it along with House of 3. Our relationship will move forward on a per-project basis.

So that’s the big news. It sounds like it was a good time for a change for her and her family. As the scrapbooking industry evolves, so must she and those like her. I admire her for weathering PAST STORMS, having a good attitude about the changes, and being thankful for all the good things in her life. I wish her all the luck in the world….

What do you think?

Making Memories: The Slice … Now in Pink

Read all about it HERE.

Here is where they are talking about it on 2PEAS and AMR

I notice that is says, “Exclusively at your local independent store.” I guess that means they won’t carry it @ Michaels, like they do the green one? I don’t know. Either way, I won’t be buying one but I thought you PINK LUVAHS would want to know, LOL! I finally came to peace with the fact that the Baby Bug (Cricut) is enough and I should be grateful I have it :)

Will you be shopping for a pretty pink Slice?

PS: It’s prolly too late now since this is tomorrow (!), but I just remembered this from my Michaels e-mail…

I Feel a Cute Puppy Layout Coming On…

Mr. LANDRY is our 9-month-old puppy. He is an outdoor ranch dog, and too big to bathe in the tub like we did in the early months. So we got brave and gave him a bath on the front lawn the other day. It’s in the 100s here so don’t feel sorry for him about being cold or anything. I’m sure the water felt good, but he does not seem to particularly care for water. Well, he’s pretty ornery in general so I think it’s more that he doesn’t care for 1. being told what to do, 2. being held down, and 3. being laughed at.

What??? Of course, we laughed at him. We couldn’t help it. You understand since you can see the photos below, right? I mean, what else are we gonna’ do??

First, let me illustrate one of the many ways Landry gets so dirty.

Here is a post hole my husband dug, which happens to be in Landry’s pen. It’s muddy from being soaked to soften the ground for more digging.

IMG_1077

Here is Landry in the hole. He curls up and sleeps in it during the day. “Ahhh…so cool,” he tells us.

IMG_1073

So let’s get some dirt off the kid. Here he is partially hosed off when we were done washing.

IMG_1067

Landry walks away. “Uh, we weren’t quite done yet, dude.” Couldn’t care a lick.

IMG_1068

Lying on the porch looking pathetic. “I’m so very put upon. Why must you bathe me?”

IMG_1070

Partially dried, as much as he would let us. Lookin’ kind of snazzy there, Lands…

IMG_1072

See why we call him Rat Boy? LOL

IMG_1063

He is a holy terror so don’t you dare feel sorry for him. I keep telling him that it’s a good thing he’s so darn cute….

Bohemia Embossed Chipboard by My Minds Eye

Sorry for another Memory Works “advertising” post so soon, but I just saw that they had this other new item and it would go so well with the MME 29th Street Market MEGA PACK.

MY MINDS EYE – BOHEMIA EMBOSSED CHIPBOARD

Distress it, paint it, ink it, sand it, show it off. Unique mulit-dimension Bohemia Chipboard. Includes 52 shapes and pieces. An $8 retail value for only $3.

Here are some sample layouts from the MY MINDS EYE GALLERY, showing this cool product being used:

ALL THREE LAYOUTS BY “KRISTEN”

Wish I would’ve seen this stuff before I placed my order yesterday. Just the package itself didn’t catch my eye, but seeing it in use makes me want some….want some BAD. If you’d like to order some ~ maybe throw it in with that MME mega kit ~ click on “I’m a Memory Works Consultant” at the top of this page.

If you’re not a shopper, I hope you enjoyed the layouts anyway. Aren’t they gorgeous? Kristen is such a great photographer and I love the way she used all of the MME products, not just the chipboard. I like going straight to the manufacturer’s galleries when I have a certain product I’m itching to use. They give such wonderful ideas.

29th Street Market by My Minds Eye: Huge Pack of Stuff!

EDITED TO ADD 7/17/09: Today, I got this in an e-mail from Memory Works: “We’ve had a huge response to our new Steals & Deals program! We’ve already sold out of one shipment and are almost sold out of our last shipment of the My Mind’s Eye 29th Street Market Kit! Don’t miss your chance….supplies are limited and kits are going fast!”

SO IF YOU’RE CONTEMPLATING THE PURCHASE, DO IT! And thank you so much to those of you who have placed orders for this kit. I’m sure you’re going to love it…can’t wait to get mine. It’s due to me on Monday, July 20!!

DO I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION? LOL…

I just got an e-mail about this amazing deal through MEMORY WORKS. All this awesome 29th Street Market stuff from My Minds Eye for only $29.95 {Wow, I felt like an infomercial announcer for a second there..}. But that’s really the price, if you can believe it.

It’s over $100 worth of stuff. Amazing. OVER 300 PIECES

This kit contains 34 sheets of 12X12 double-sided cardstock paper plus over 270 mix & match accessory pieces including titles, journaling cards, die cuts, and transparencies.

This kind of thing tends to go quickly so I placed an order for myself already. {I had some other orders to place from my crop last weekend, so I put them all together to save on shipping}. I don’t know if I’ll sell it or keep it. Hmmm….

If you would like to order one, please click above on “I’m a Memory Works Consultant” and follow the instructions to place your order (this MME deal is under Shop Our Products, Steals and Deals).

Seriously, I wouldn’t be surprised if these were gone by the end of the week if not sooner.

Scrapbook Organization: Punch Storage

A while back, ANGIE on the AMR message board asked how we all store our punches, so I took a pic of my awesome, high tech punch storage system {insert eye roll here…}. I also have my handy little Xryon “X” ADHESIVE MACHINE and Pebbles Inc. RIBBON IRON in there, too.

IMG_1007

It’s just a nylon tote I picked up ages ago at Michaels, but it’s good quality and has held together well given how packed I have it and how heavy it is. I think it was by Crop, Paper Scissors but the tag and receipt are long gone, so I’m not sure. I can’t find a photo online anywhere either, which is bizarre.

Anyway, here is why I like my punch storage:

1. It has handles and I can easily take it to crops, where I share them with everyone. {Punch love cannot be contained, and should be shared in the interest of world peace}.
2. Because it’s not hard-sided, there is some flexibility on where I can cram…ahem, PUT…punches of different sizes and shapes.
3. It was inexpensive.

The only con:

1. It is full.

Yet I don’t feel like I’m done buying punches. Not sure what to do about this dilemma yet. Yeah, I should probably stop buying punches. Hey, it’s not my fault. They keep coming out with new ones that are soooo cute. And with a coupon or sale, they are way cost effective for the use I get from them.

How do you store your punches?

AMR Crop: “Summer”

Last weekend, there was an online crop at ALL MOMENTS REMEMBERED, “the nicest message board on the internet.” I happened to be holding my own crop IRL all day Friday and Saturday, so I took my laptop, used the WiFi at the hotel, and followed along with the AMR crop. I even participated by completing and posting some layouts for the first time in a very long while. {To be honest, the talent over there intimidates me but I’m sure YOU would be fine, LOL}.

I did this layout for the “A NEW LAYOUT” challenge hosted by STACY aka CyCy. The only requirement was to post a layout you did during the crop.

IMG_1046

The journaling reads: Can you hear little Landry? He is saying, “Will you please let me out?” I think I also heard him say, “But I’m so very cute. How can you keep me all locked up like some kind of criminal?” You’re right, Mr. Landry. You did nothing wrong. ‘Cept maybe chase the bunnies, chew through the drip line, dig up the grass. Misdemeanors? Maybe. I used Cosmo Cricket papers from THIS Memory Works Express Kit (Sept. 08),…

Bazzill cardstock, and the Cricut font “Doodlebug.” The stamped journaling box is from a either THIS or THIS journaling spot swap. There was no writing on the back so I’m not sure who made it unfortunately.

I did this layout for the “THINK BEACH” challenge hosted by JEN aka ScrappyJen. The challenge was to scrap your favorite part of the beach.

IMG_1048

Most of the items are from this MEMORY WORKS EXPRESS KIT from NOVEMBER 2009:

Papers are Heidi Swapp and 7 Gypsies, and the title was cut with the Cricut alpha “Opposites Attract.” Usually, the cursive font on that cartridge is long and low but if you put it on “upright” mode, it comes out like this. Cool, huh? The little black alpha is 7 Gypsies and the journaling box is again from one of the swaps I did, artist unknown.

The journaling reads: My favorite part of going to the beach is he feeling of calm that comes over me the second I see the water. The ocean is my favorite place in the world, the place I feel most at home, the place I am most myself, the place I feel most serene. The sound of the waves creates an almost spiritual feeling in my heart. The ocean gives me Serenity.

I did this layout for the “OUTSIDE OF YOUR HOME” challenge hosted by NICOLE aka NicoleP. But I pulled a blond moment and it wasn’t actually eligible because I did not use a “summer” photo as instructed, LOL. These photos were taken in February, silly girl! Major duh. I mean, the entire theme of the crop was “Summer.” Oh well, it’s all good. I’ve been wanting to scrap these photos for a long time anyway.

IMG_1050

The journaling reads: When it rains, we often get to see these amazing full rainbows off of our back patio. If you’ve ever wondered where the rainbow ends, just come to our house . . . we’ll show you the spot.

I used Bazzill cardstock, DCWV glitter papers from the NANA’s KITCHEN stack, and some plum metallic paper my mom gave me for the letters in RAINBOW; then I used GLOSSY ACCENTS {for the first time} on those letters. In person, this layout looks shiny and pretty although I don’t think you can tell that in the photo. The letters were again done with the Opposites Attract font on my Cricut. I only have 4 Cricut cartridges, can you tell? LOL

One of the highlights of the crop was the Virtual Bingo game run by Michelle aka Shelle’s 2 girls. Ahead of time, you picked 25 words from a long list of summertime words to be on your virtual bingo card (aka a list in Word or whatever). Then at the designated time on Saturday night, she began posting sets of 5 words while we marked any that we had off of our sheet. When people were starting to match up to 18 or 19 words, she slowed it down to 3 words at a time until the winner called “Bingo!” Along the way, it got very competative. Players tried to send other players off to get lucky kisses from their DH’s or to go check on the proverbial crying baby, etc. {“the better for me to win while you’re away from your computer” tactic}. They even tried to tell me a Journey special was on TV so I would leave, LOL! It was HUH-larious. All the feedback was so good, I think there will be virtual bingo at all the future AMR crops.

If you’d like to join us next time ~ or just join the AMR message board for everyday chatting ~ come on over, we’d love to have you. Just drop me a line (see my About Me page) so I can tell board admin DENISE aka denisewalks to expect you (lotsa spammers unfortunately).

Hope you had a crafty and fun weekend, too!

Book of Me: Challenge Layout #1

Over at my favorite message board home ~ AMR ~ we are just starting a Book of Me challenge. It will be going on in the coming months, with periodic layout challenges by ABBY aka ScrapbookFrenzy.

The first challenge was “Stuff That Brings Me Joy.” Here was a sample layout Abby provided to give us some inspiration:

LAYOUT BY REVLIE

Here is Abby’s submission for the first layout. She liked the above layout so much, she chose to scraplift it. I love her take on it. It’s going to be so fun to learn more about my online friends through these Book of Me layouts, like this:

LAYOUT BY ABBY

Edited to add a layout by AMR girlie LISA aka LBOregon….

LAYOUT BY LISA

… and layout by AMR friend ANGIE aka mommiextwo

Here is my take on the first BOM challenge:

LAYOUT BY ME {ERIKA}

IMG_1026

The base is Bazzill cardstock (is there any other kind?), and everything else is from the PINK PAISLEE GRAB BOX I just got. I think I’m going to try and do most of my BOM layouts with the PP stuff, so I will actually use it and not hoard it like I usually would cuz it’s SO cool. What could be more special to use it on than a book about moi, LOL!

So, “Stuff That Brings Me Joy” is AMR friends, summer rain, lazy Sundays, hugs & kisses, Bible study with my girlfriends, down time with a good book, vanilla lattes, good wine made by friends, and scrap mags. Wouldn’t this be a fun layout for YOU to do? {Hint, hint}. What stuff brings YOU joy? Don’t you think your family and friends would like to know? I had so much fun doing this layout that I went on to create another layout about my job. {The journaling is not done or I would post it}. The BOM challenge at AMR is very easy going; you can do the challenges presented, skip the ones you don’t like, add ones from other sources, whatever you want to do, in whatever way, size, or style you’d like. I love that, because this is a very personal book so I’m glad I can make it the way I want to and not feel pressured to work on it when I get busy and don’t have time.

I posted my layout at AMR asking for some CC (constructive criticism), asking if I should maybe replace the photos with black and white or sepia versions, because I almost feel like all the color looks too busy. But the consensus SO FAR seems to be that it’s fine the way it is. I love those girls over there….they are so encouraging and made me feel a lot better about it. {Can you tell I lack scrap confidence?}. I can scrap shop like nobody’s business, but when it comes to putting my layouts “out there,” I feel so inferior and talentless after seeing all the beautiful work ~ all the artistry ~ that is out there.

But I decided to take the plunge because I feel like doing a Book of Me is SUCH an important thing to do. For all the scrapping you have done, for all the birthday party and travel and Christmas layouts you’ve completed, what do your scrapbooks say about YOU? How many photos of YOU are in them? If you were to die tomorrow, how much of YOU would be left behind for your family?

When I think about this subject, ALEIDA FRANKLIN always comes to mind. Please think about doing a Book of Me for your family. There is a ton of inspiration online for doing one, and we would love to have you join us at the All Moments Remembered message board. It’s quick/easy to become a member and it’s just one big bunch of friendly and helpful ladies over there.

Have you or will you do a Book of Me scrapbook? If you have linkees, I’d love to see them :)

7.8.09 @ 10:11:12 (am or pm)

Isn’t it cool that twice today it was 7-8-9-10-11-12?? In honor of this auspicious occasion, ELIZABETH KARTCHNER had THIS post on her blog…a fun little contest, and I decided to play. I’ve copied the rules below:
=================

Last night Collin thought of this cool idea to have everyone take a photo at the same time! Are you in? Here’s how to play:
1 Have your camera handy on July 8th-this Wednesday mary’s birthday! :)
2 Take a photo of whatever you are doing when your clock says 10:11 am or pm. (we won’t worry about timezones)
3 Challenge yourself to think outside of the box in how you take the photo or don’t worry about that part and just snap one real quick!
4 Post the photo on your blog or an online gallery. Leave a comment on my blog linked to your photo and be entered into a giveaway.
=================

HERE is Elizabeth’s post on her 10:11:12 photos. And here is the photo I snapped at 10:11. Now, the stupid clocks on my computers say 10:12 and 10:14, but my iPhone said 10:11, so that’s what we’re going with, LOL!

IMG_1004

At 10:11:12 today, I was taking a break from work for a morning snackie. I work from home as a medical transcriptionist. The Macbook you see is my own computer which is usually on a pretty ocean slide show while I work and listen to music (PANDORA.COM) on low all day. But I opened it to show the clock and, what do you know, there is my Twitter page, LOL! My headphones are hangin’ on my laptop and that’s my fruit to the right….kiwi, banana, and watermelon. My Windows work computer screen sits up behind my laptop but I purposely cut off the screen ~ confidential, dontcha know. Sorry it’s such a dark pic. The room I’m in is west-facing so it’s quite dark until about 2pm when the sun crosses over the house.

Well, that was fun. That’s what I was doing on 7.8.09 @ 10:11:12 am….

Pink Paislee Warehouse Sale: Here’s What’s in the Box

But I took photos of what I got and will post them anyway, along with the retail price of each item so you can get an idea of HOW worth it this purchase is. {I have rounded the prices up by 1 cent for ease of use, and did not show prices on my favorites at the bottom if they were already included in a prior photo}.

My favorite acrylic stamps. These make me very happy :)

IMG_0984

My favorite set of letter stickers. I love the bright color and this is one of my favorite letter sticker fonts ever. I just wish it included punctuation (brackets, asterisks, etc.) like some of their other lines do.

IMG_0985

My favorite set of rub-ons…so classy looking.

IMG_0986

(1) sheet of paper {retail $.70}
This is the only thing in the entire box that I don’t care for. Just not my style although the colors are great.

IMG_0981

This is the sneak peek of one of their new lines for CHA, “Twilight.”
IMG_0968

This was the only double-sided sheet of the bunch. It has a distressed black polka-dot on the back. I wonder if all their new lines will be double-sided? Not that there’s any doubt which side of THIS paper I’ll be using. Isn’t it cool?

If you’re now a Pink Paislee convert like I am, or have always loved them, HERE is a link to sneak peeks for the CHA-Summer releases later this month. I have to say, this kit totally converted me. Prior to this, all I had of PP was about 3 sheets of paper and some transparencies that I got in a monthly Memory Works kit. My LSS or any store around me has never sold PP, so I had NO idea how rockin’ it was! But seeing how cute it all is and what great quality, they are now in my top 5 favorite scrapbooking companies.

If you’re on the fence about this warehouse sale, I would definitely recommend buying it. I haven’t done the math but there is CLEARLY a huge value here. Just the 2 sets of acrylic stamps alone account for 1/2 the price of the entire box including shipping {$28 of $55}. They shipped very quickly and it was packed very well, nothing damaged. But you’d better hurry….SALE ENDS THIS FRIDAY, JULY 9!!

Pink Paislee, Shoppin’, and Croppin’

I got the box! I got the box! Pink Paislee box that is. By the time I got home yesterday with it, it was too dark to take photos. So, I just took pictures this morning and now I have to work all day. I will edit the photos and get everything posted tonight, so check back tomorrow.

I also hit Tuesday Morning and Michaels while in “the big city” yesterday. Look for posts about those stores later this week.

Otherwise, I’m preparing for my crop this Friday/Saturday. It’s the first one I’ve done since my “hiatus” from Memory Works from September 2008 til March 2009. I only have a few people signed up each day but enough to juuuuust break even on the room rental. If I don’t get any more attendees, I’ll lose money on the food/drinks and prizes. I don’t anticipate there being very many MW orders placed either. Have I said this economy sucks? Cuz it does. When a scrapper can’t even afford to go to a crop and buy a few goodies for her stash, something is DEFINITELY wrong. And, yeah, that’s what I’m hearing from my friends….they can’t even afford the crop fee right now much less doing any shopping. At least my mama will be cropping along side me both days, and I’ll get to see a few friends I haven’t talked to in a while, so it’ll be a fun weekend either way :)

See ya, homies!

Journaling and Kate Hepburn

We had a WONDERFUL day on the Fourth of July. My husband had to work most of the day/evening, so it was just the kids and I, but we were going and moving the entire day, and fell asleep on the couch at 10pm watching an old Katherine Hepburn movie.

As my kids lay beside me on the couch, passed out from the all the fun, with the black and white movie on low volume flickering on the TV, I was thinking about the awesome day we had had together. I started, you know, having a dialogue in my head with them and, no, I’m not flipping out on you. Still totally sane. But I’m sharing this because I think that moment led to what’s going to be some pretty good journaling on a future scrapbook layout.

I was thinking, in my mind saying to them, “I hope you remember the truly important things that happened today.” And it went a little something like this….
————

I hope you don’t ONLY remember that you got to eat a waffle cone downtown while we shopped, play with friends at a barbecue, and watch fireworks. I hope you remember all the other things that made the day so special to our family.

I hope you remember that, although your dad wasn’t with us today, it’s because he was working to provide for our family, so we can afford things like waffle cones. I hope you remember how much he loves us and takes care of us.

I hope you remember how much fun we had making our traditional Fourth of July desert on Friday night, Puppy Chow….how everyone took turns, cooperated, and made something yummy together.

I hope you remember how much we laughed today. I hope you remember that, when you were growing up, your family had a great, wicked, sarcastic, hilarious, laugh at the top of your lungs, sense of humor; how much we tease and push buttons, yet forgive and move on.

I hope you remember all the hugs we gave each other and all the kindness we showed each other, and showed others. Don’t forget that you kids held the door open for people when we entered stores, and said please and thank you to everyone we encountered. Remember how you were complimented by several people today for your manners.

I hope you remember that it was beautiful weather on this day, that God gave us sunshine and warmth during the day, and a clear night sky to see the fireworks (even though we were freezing!). I hope you never take for granted how lucky we are to live in this beautiful and amazing place.

I hope you remember, while we drove to all the places we went today, that you kids weren’t plugged into iPods or engrossed in GameBoys, but that we talked the entire time, about To Kill a Mockingbird, the President, random questions you had, what Independence Day means, and about how excited we are that Grandma is coming to visit.

I hope you remember our deli lunch not just for the Doritos and cool sandwich, but for the warmth of the sun on our necks as we sat outside, and the empathy you felt for the homeless man as we watched him scrounge his change together for a hot cup of coffee.

I hope you never forget that the Tea Party event we went to in the park wasn’t all about the hot dogs and the bounce house, but it was about our ability, our right, and our duty to speak up for what we believe in, no matter what it is and who agrees or doesn’t. You know in your heart what is right and wrong, and we will always support you in peacefully expressing it.

I hope you remember that you worried about the puppy being home alone while we went to watch fireworks, and that you ran to check on him on the second we got home. Because you are caring and responsible and good.

I hope you remember the big smile you gave me every time one of you said, “Thanks, Mom, for bringing us here. This is so fun!” or “Mom, thank you for getting that for us.” Your deep sense of gratitude brings tears to my eyes.

I hope you remember how lucky we are … to be the family we are.

I hope most of all you remember this: How amazingly much I love you, and how blessed I am, every holiday and every day, that you are in my life…

Love,
Mom
————

Actually, I didn’t take very many photos on Saturday {chose to “be in the moment” instead of “being in the camera” for once}, so this journaling may end up being the largest part of the layout, LOL. That’s okay, sometimes the journaling is more important than the pictures anyway, don’t you think? I often have these “quiet moments” where I talk to my kids or my husband, in my head but from my heart. But I’m always “too busy” or “too tired” to write them down. This time, I made myself do it and I’m so happy I did.

Have you ever had journaling come to you this way, the way mine did? I would love to hear about it …

Pink Paislee, Oh How You Torture Me…

I AM IN A SPECIAL KIND OF HELL.

No, I did not get my Pink Paislee box today. Because I went to the post office to pick it up….and they were closed. Due to the 4th of July holiday.

I’m in the kind of hell they send you to when you order THIS box of goodies from PINK PAISLEE, one of your favorite scrapbooking companies ever, and then hold the box that should rightfully be yours like some kind of scrappy hostage behind the locked doors and silver fold-down screen of a federal building.

But I’m not bitter.

Okay, to cheer myself up {or torture myself, depending on how you want to look at it…}, I’ve found OTHER ladies who have received THEIR Pink Paislee box and will share them now. As I sit here without my box. But that’s okay, ladies, you go ahead and enjoy your boxes. Really. I don’t mind. At. All.

Okay, here we go….

Gorgina from JUST TOO RANDOM blog posted hers HERE… she posted 4 pix over there.

Rebecca at PETEY’S PAGES blog posted her loot HERE…and here are her pix….

Rebecca also posted a list of all the things she got in her Pink Paislee box, and shows the new CHA sneak peak paper…go see on her blog.

HERE is where my AMR friend Julie posted about her box. She has lots of photos and even separated the goodies by line. Great post…go check it, home slice.

Okay. I can’t decide if that made me feel better or worse. But I did it for you ‘cuz you said you wanted to see pictures. I would do anything for you, really I would. You are my sistas from anotha’ motha’.

Hey, if YOU ordered a Pink Paislee warehouse sale box, let us know if you’ve received it or not. If ya did, leave a linkee to your blog so we can come drool…

Tracking the Pink Paislee Box…

Nope, it’s still not here. I signed up to get e-mails from USPS, to track it’s progress to me. I feel like a kid on December 24th, watching the satellite thing they have online that tracks how close Santa is getting to your house.

The e-mail I got at about noon on Thursday showed that my PINK PAISLEE BOX had shipped through Liberty, MO, processed through Kansas City, MO, processed through the LA area, and then the name of my town with “Notice Left” at 9:58am on 7/2 (Thursday). I hope that means it has arrived at my PO Box!! I wasn’t able to get to town today and check {what could me more important than that? I know!}. So, I’ll be up there when they open their doors in the morning and if it’s there, I’ll post a pic as soon as I can. If it’s not there, I just might cry. Scrappy tears.

Go to YouTube and Search “Scrapbook Haul”

You will find videos like THIS, THIS, and THIS. I love it. This is a girl totally after my own heart, LOL! There are other videos on scrapper’s “hauls,” too. After you search “scrapbook haul” and get your list of results, then use the drop down menu in the top middle to Sort by Newest. Just so you get the more recent ones….don’t want to get all excited about rushing down to Tuesday Morning for a great deal you saw….only to find out it was posted in August 2007, LOL.

Happy watching! And thanks ABBY for the first two linkees…you know me too well :)

And I shall leave you with a LAUGH….

My New Blog Header!

My buddy CHRISPEA e-mailed today with a surprise…she made a new blog header for me! Don’t you love it. Her hubby MATT is an artist and she made him combine two of his drawings because she wanted the pink cell phone and the bird. They are both total sweethearts. Thank you so much Mr. and Mrs. Chrispea! I love it to pieces…

Now I just need to find some free help for the rest of my blog format (which I hate) and I’ll really be in business, LOL!
